This is a welcoming first Dungeons & Dragons club for kids who are curious about the game but do not yet know all the rules. No character-building homework or previous experience is required. The Guild Master helps each learner choose a ready-to-play character, understand what is happening, and take part at a comfortable pace.

Each meeting begins with a quick welcome and story recap. The party then explores, makes choices, solves problems, talks with characters, and rolls dice when the outcome is uncertain. Rules are introduced when they become useful, so learners spend more time playing and less time listening to a lecture.

A typical meeting includes

  • A clear story goal and a chance for every player to contribute
  • Exploration, role-play, puzzles, and age-appropriate fantasy action
  • Guided practice with character sheets, ability checks, saving throws, and turn-taking
  • A closing recap that helps the group remember its choices and prepare for next week

This is an ongoing club, and new learners may join after the story has begun. The Guild Master welcomes them into the party, explains the current situation, and gives their character an immediate reason to be part of the adventure. Learners are never expected to perform a voice or speak before they are ready.

Through play, learners practice listening, communication, creative problem-solving, flexible thinking, and shared decision-making. The goal is not perfect rule knowledge. It is becoming a confident, thoughtful member of the party.

Sessions may include fantasy peril, imaginary combat, monsters, and suspense. The tone remains age-appropriate and is guided by the Guild of Imagination code of conduct.

Guild of Imagination is an independent class provider. This club is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.
