About Guild of Imagination

A place where creative kids can finally enter the story.

Some kids do not light up in the usual activities. They light up when there is a map on the table, a mystery to solve, a strange creature to befriend, or a story that needs their exact kind of brain.
Guild of Imagination creates small guided online clubs where kids play, build, solve, laugh, and tell stories with a welcoming Guild Master and a group built around shared interests.

Our promise

Your child does not need to be the loudest voice in the room to matter here.

In a Guild party, every player has a role: the strategist, the jokester, the mapmaker, the quiet hero, the bold performer, and the kid who needs a minute before they jump in.
Why we exist

Imagination is not a distraction from growing up.

It is one of the best ways kids practice becoming themselves. Inside a story, kids can try brave ideas, speak up, listen, compromise, recover from mistakes, and discover that their way of thinking can be useful to a group.
Our mission is to help youth explore creativity, understand different perspectives, and build confidence through immersive storytelling and social experiences that feel exciting, safe, and deeply human.
Built with heart

Not a worksheet wearing a wizard hat.

The magic is not only in the dice, the maps, or the monsters. The magic is in the moment a child realizes, “Oh. I belong in this story.”
The soul of the Guild

A child joins for the game. They stay because they are known.

We start with what already lights them up, then give it shape through a steady group, clear expectations, and a Guild Master who understands how to turn play into connection.
01

Different kinds of brave

Some kids charge into the story. Some watch first. Some ask questions. Some crack jokes. Some quietly take notes until they see the perfect move.
02

A steady grown-up guide

A Guild Master welcomes players, sets expectations, manages the pace, and helps kids share the spotlight without turning the session into chaos.
03

A party that remembers them

Kids return to familiar faces, shared jokes, unfinished quests, and a story that remembers what they did last time.
04

Safety with warmth

Sessions are recorded, Guild Masters are background-checked yearly, and personal information exchange is not allowed.
05

Parents in the loop

Families can message us anytime, and Guild Masters send key updates after the first session and later in the club journey.
06

Play that becomes practice

Kids communicate, solve problems, take turns, and try brave ideas inside a game they actually care about.
The Tower of Worlds

More than a class catalog. A world kids can come back to.

At the heart of Guild of Imagination is the Tower of Worlds, our original story world. It is a strange, joyful, impossible place filled with cozy taverns, sky ships, creature rooms, secret libraries, music halls, magical gardens, hidden doors, and more stories than anyone can count.
The Tower gives our clubs a shared heartbeat. Kids are not just attending another online activity. They are stepping into a world where their choices, characters, jokes, ideas, and brave little moments can become part of something bigger.
A shared world gives kids something to care about.
Characters, badges, and lore make progress feel visible.
The adventure can grow with your child over time.
The people behind the portal

Behind every adventure is a person paying attention.

Our clubs are powered by warm, thoughtful people: the founder who shaped the vision, the operations leader who keeps the Guild steady, and Guild Masters who make every room feel guided, safe, and alive.
Founder

Patrick Stephens

Patrick started Guild of Imagination because he believed imaginative kids deserved more than another activity slot. They deserved a place built with care, story, structure, and a little ridiculous magic.
His vision is simple: help creative kids find the right group, then build a world they are proud to return to.
Director of Virtual Programs and Operations

Shayne

Shayne keeps the online adventure engine steady, helping clubs, families, Guild Masters, and systems work together so each session feels safe, clear, and ready for play.
The best magical spaces still need careful planning behind the curtain.

Meet a few of the guides who bring the stories to life.

Guild Master

GM Elijah

I'm a career game master with tons of experience and a passion for D&D and learning. I am nearly done with my psychology degree, have several game supplements published, and love what I do.
Guild Master

GM Dean

With a strong focus on imagination, collaboration, and accessible fun, Dean designs adventures that help players step into heroic worlds filled with mystery, danger, humour, and heart. His work blends theatrical storytelling, game design, and group facilitation, making each session feel personal, exciting, and memorable.
Guild Master

GM Daniel

Hey Everyone! I primarily run DnD games but have a huge passion for narrative and game design. I love to encourage creative freedom for the players in my games and always try to let them take the story in whichever way is most fun for them. Team play and creative collaboration are the centerpiece of all my classes. 😀
Guild Master

GM Schuyler

A Game Master and educator who uses Tabletop Role Playing Games (TTRPGs) to weave collaborative stories into amazing experiences for all. Join me on a mission to free a city from the grips of unrest or sail through the multiverse on the search for immortality. New players are welcomed and embraced as they learn the mechanics for making dreams feel real.
What we value

We are careful about the kind of magic we build.

A great online club is not only exciting. It is welcoming, guided, emotionally safe, and built with respect for the kids who show up.

Inclusivity

Every child deserves a welcoming seat at the table. We build spaces where different personalities, identities, learning styles, and play styles can belong.

Empathy

Stories help kids practice seeing through someone else’s eyes. The best adventures are shaped by listening, noticing, and caring about the party.

Creativity

A strange plan, a funny voice, a hand-drawn map, or a clever workaround can become the spark that brings the whole room alive.

Community

Kids need places they can return to. A group that remembers them. A story that keeps going. A Guild that feels familiar.

Growth

Growth can be a child speaking up once, trying again after a mistake, letting someone else lead, or asking to come back next week.
Who we built this for

For the kid who has been waiting for the right group.

The child who loves fantasy, games, stories, maps, creatures, strategy, performance, or building strange little worlds in their head.
The child who may not be a sports kid. The child who wants D&D but has never played. The child who likes online spaces, but needs something safer and more meaningful than random servers.
The child who is quiet until the right topic appears, then suddenly has everything to say.
The simple idea

Some kids are waiting for a world where their interests become social.

We built the Guild for them.
Ready to find their first door?

The best way to understand the Guild is to let your child try the first step.

The Adventure Finder Quiz helps us learn about your child’s interests, comfort level, age, schedule, and best starting path. From there, we help point your family toward a first adventure that feels like a good fit.
